I tested this theory by going back into control panel pen calibration, and deliberately miscalibrating by a quite wide margin. It seemed to me that the Krita canvas was using the default, uncalibrated location of the cursor, rather than the corrected location I had just calibrated for. Menus, toolbars, etc, are all fine, but as soon as the cursor crosses into canvas territory, it jumps. Noticed (after reading of a similar problem in a forum search) that the problem only applies to the Krita *canvas*. Went into control panel settings, recalibrated. Works just fine.Įxcept - the pen cursor calibration is slightly off. Workaround by installing the 32-bit version instead of 64. I've used Krita for a while now (love it!) but recently bought myself a MS Surface 3 (not to be confused with Surface PRO 3, though in many ways the same.)įirst issue, couldn't get pressure sensitivity to work, even after installing Wintab drivers. I've searched extensively and found several references to a similar problem, but no solution to mine - I'm hoping someone can help!
